Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
This policy describes what information we collect about you when you use AO IT Tech's website and the AI Employees application, how we use it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
AO IT Tech ("we", "us") provides IT services and operates the AI Employees application, including the Sera stock-alert service. This Privacy Policy describes the information we collect when you use our website or the AI Employees application, including the SMS notifications it sends.
Account information you provide to us: name, email address, and (only if you choose to enable SMS alerts) a phone number in E.164 format. We also store the alert rules you configure inside the application — for example, the ticker symbols you choose to watch and the price thresholds you set.
Technical information collected automatically: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps), and the operational data required to deliver the service (e.g., timestamps of when an alert rule fired). We do not deploy advertising trackers on our site.
How we use it
To operate the service: authenticating your account, evaluating the alert rules you create, and sending the resulting notifications to the in-app inbox and (when you have enabled it) to your phone via SMS.
To communicate with you about your account: service announcements, billing where applicable, and replies to support requests.
To improve reliability and security: monitoring for abuse, debugging failures, and detecting unauthorized access.
We do not use your phone number, email address, or any account data for marketing purposes.
How we share it
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile phone numbers and the consent that you grant for SMS messaging are not shared with any third parties or affiliates.
We share information only with the service providers we use to operate the platform — for example, Twilio (SMS delivery), Supabase (authentication and database hosting), and our infrastructure providers. Each of these vendors is bound by their own privacy and security obligations and processes data only as needed to provide their service.
We may disclose information when required by law (subpoena, court order) or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
Your choices
You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by turning off the "SMS enabled" toggle in your account settings, by removing the alert rule that triggered the message, or by replying STOP to any message you receive from us.
You can delete your account by emailing contact@aoittech.com. We will remove your personal data within 30 days, except for records we are required to retain to meet legal obligations.
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing the same address.
Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle support requests, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. Notification history is kept for up to 90 days, then purged.
Security
Sensitive credentials (such as third-party API keys you provide to the application) are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Authentication uses industry-standard practices via Supabase. All traffic to our services is served over HTTPS.
Children
Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change. Material changes will be communicated through the application or via email to affected users. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
